My first make up on a kid. My stepson to be exact. He wanted to be a zombie/ghoul so I grabbed an off the shelf appliance and voila. Little guy was a trooper, and never complained about the time.  The appliance is obviously too big for his little face but the effect was creepy none the less. I think it helps that he was missing teeth at the time. Below is a work in progress shot.

My House/Yard Goes Disney

I got to work on multiple episodes of this HGTV make over show along side the talented crew at Cinnabar FL. I also got to work on the final episode in Ohio in the Art Dept. Of all the things I did, this turtle based on Crush from Finding Nemo is my favorite because of the little boys reaction when he saw his room. After the show taped the producers came to me with a message from the family letting me know that it their son, loved his bed and stayed curled up in it after the shoot. Below is a gallery of some of the work for the series on which I was lead sculptor, heading up and working along side the talented team of Brian Cowell, Shawn Ames, Heather Henson, Jessica Simms and Matt Stall.

Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Gophers

I was commissioned to sculpt these little guys for the Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Ride in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.  I was one of 3 artists commissioned for the job.  I was originally slated to do 4 but ended up sculpting 6, technically 7 if you count the one on the shoulders of the other.

This was sculpted for a Cinnabar employee skull themed art show held in Orlando Florida. All the artists were given a casting of a skull and given complete freedom to alter it as we saw fit. Being a Sci-Fi fan this is what I came up with.

One of the first things you see when entering Hogwarts castle in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this sculpture was a collaborative effort between Shawn Ames and myself with some assistance from Andy Costello and Steve Boros. The final paint was done by Christopher Johnson. Below is a shot of Shawn and I with the Gryffin just before it went to paint. By the way the password is Sherbet Lemon.

Dirol “Mummy” Commercial

This was an odd show to work on. It was one of 3 or 4 commercials that were filmed for the Russian chewing gum, Dirol.  It was directed by Oscar nominated visual effects artist and director, Steve “Spaz” Williams. I was the lead sculptor on this set, heading the team of Shawn Ames, Andrew Costello, Morgan Lee, Steve Boros, Christopher Marvin Wesley Johnson and Craig Johnson. You can view the commercial below.
